Founded by Dr. Webster, Webster techniques used for treatment of pregnant women. This technique helps to restore proper motion in the pelvis, and combined with prescribed pelvic stability exercises, it is a great tool to help pregnant women have an easier and less painful natural labour.
The premise of this technique is based on the fact that the sacrum is attached to the uterus through multiple ligaments. As the uterus grows, these ligaments become taut, pulling on the sacrum asymmetrically. This pull on the sacrum may lead to misalignment, possibly narrowing the pelvic inlet opening, reducing the space in which the head of the fetus would exit naturally. Dr. Sabbaghan is trained in the Webster technique and by using her hands, she will ensure the sacrum is properly aligned and in optimal position for a more comfortable pregnancy and an easier delivery.
