• Ayesha Joseph, PT

Ayesha has always been fascinated with the way the human body moves, which motivated her to study physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Delhi with the Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, with honours in 2010. She went on to study Fitness and Health Promotion and graduated from Humber College in Toronto, in 2014.

She has a keen interest in various pain management strategies, having battled with Fibromyalgia for over a decade herself. She has worked closely with pediatric, geriatric and post-surgery patients. She believes that a Physical Therapist’s strongest tools are their two hands and knowledge of anatomy, both of which she uses for the treatment substantially.

She advocates the use of evidence based practice and tries to keep herself updated. She believes in treating patients by educating them about their body and ailment.
Her effervescence and wit makes her a people person and her zeal and vigour motivate her to face anything undaunted. She loves travelling and exploring new places, but Toronto is her first love. She loves to read and write poetry in her spare time, for which she has received national awards in the past.
