• Corrie Okamura, MPT

Corrie is originally from Vancouver Island, where she first developed an interest in human movement and anatomy through her background as a competitive dancer and dance instructor. She completed her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, having previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta.

Corrie has completed extensive post-graduate training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and real time ultrasound imaging, and is passionate about women’s health. She believes all women should have a chance to regain their function and quality of life. Incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, or an inefficient core shouldn’t hold anyone back from being active or living the way they want to.

Corrie has also completed training in vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and balance disorders.

Corrie uses individualized treatment plans of education, manual therapy, and exercise to help patients optimize the functioning of their bodies and achieve their goals. Corrie enjoys helping patients find hope through recovery.

Outside of work: Corrie enjoys climbing, hiking, weight lifting, and finding new ways to stay active.
